Mountain Buggy's Protect™ infant carrier has been tested to current safety standard R129.  It offers rear facing for longer, upto 87cm and has excellent head, neck and all over body protection and comfort for your newborn.  It can be used with Mountain Buggy and Phil and Teds pushchairs to create a travel system.
 
This car seat comes with a free blackout cover which is UPF50+to shelter your baby.  It blocks out 98.74% of the light so your baby is nicely cocooned in their seat, whilst retaining air permeability of 115cfm.
